How VpCI Technology works

When the VpCI unit is exposed to the atmosphere it commences and continues to emit a vapor that settles on all surfaces creating a corrosion protective barrier. The vapour penetrates and settles into cracks, micro fractures and all other areas in the surface, providing a comprehensive corrosion protection.

The very fine, yet tough, protective coating halts the corrosion cycle. The vapor emission continues for up to two years providing a self healing layer of corrosion protection on the surfaces.

Ionic action of VpCI creates a molecular, inhibiting layer. VpCI conditions enclosed atmosphere with a protective vapor that migrates to all recessed areas and cavities. The vapor condenses on all metal surfaces. Ions form a thin, monomolecular protective layer at the metal surface. VpCI combines with other functional properties: antistatic, cleaning, lubricating and rust removing.
